Pickleball Meet Up

The game with the funny name, combines elements of tennis, ping-pong and badminton.  Warwick Township Pickleball is an affilitate program and is open to all ages 20+.  The program is run through: www.meetup.com/warwick-township-pickleball.  All regsitrations is done through the Meet Up website.  The program is run by Gail and Tom Weniger, Central Bucks USPA Ambassadors and provides a unique exercise and social experience to group members.  The group started in 2013 and currently has 90 registered members.  The pickleball courts are located in the rear of Guinea Lane Park, 2045 Guinea Lane, Jamison, PA 18929.

All questions regarding start dates, ability qualification, equipment needs, etc can be found at the meetup website at www.meetup.com/warwick-township-pickleball.  If you have additional questions, click on the button to contact the coordinators and they will get back to you.

Highlights
  • New player demonstrations and lessons will be offered beginning Spring 2014
  • Previous and current racquet sport players will be evaluated after one instructional session
  • True beginners will be required to attend 3 instructional days
  • All information and announcements will be posted on the Meetup website
  • Members pay annually, monthly or per session
  • Fees include regular sessions only
  • There is no fee to register for the group and receive notices of all Pickleball opportunities
  • You can also use the e-mail contact on the Meetup website for any questions
  • Annual membership - $100 per person
  • Monthly membership - $15 per person
  • Per Session Fee - $1 per person
  • Instructional Session fee - $3 per person
  • All fees are made out to Warwick Township and will be given to the coordinators
